This project embraces a minimalist, modern design that harmonizes architecture and landscape, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and spatial fluidity. In the front yard, the reoriented staircase transforms exposed concrete walls into terraced gardens with evergreen shrubs, while the entry path broadens into a courtyard-like foyer, enhancing privacy and the sense of arrival. The rear yard retains the garden house’s original foundation, redesigned with a sloped roof and wood siding to reflect the rustic charm of Southlands. Mature trees are highlighted by under-canopy plantings, framing a floating deck that offers inviting spaces for outdoor dining and leisure.
