Environmental Stewardship

Environmental Stewardship

Environmental stewardship is a core part of BCLNA’s strategic framework. Across all commodities—whether growing, landscaping, or retail—our members are deeply connected to the land, water, and ecosystems around them.

Our work in this area supports both the sustainability of horticultural practices and the broader environmental goals of the province. We advocate for solutions that are practical, regionally relevant, and driven by science and industry expertise.

Environmental issues often cross commodity lines. Topics like pesticide use, water conservation, and energy transition impact our entire membership and call for shared solutions and coordination.
