BCLNA Member Awards
Every year, BCLNA proudly recognizes individuals and companies who have helped the association and BC's green industry thrive. Award winners are nominated by their industry peers and reviewed by the BCLNA Board and Staff.

BCLNA Member Award Categories
Garden Communicator of the Year Award
Presented to an individual providing outstanding communication to the public on garden and landscape topics, including sharing the next hot garden trend. The nominee does not have to be a BCLNA member.
Educator of the Year Award
Presented to a person who works primarily within horticulture, educating the industry and/or public about the industry, its products, or services. This includes horticulture educators and others who educate the public in specific green industry topics.
Supplier of the Year Award
Recognizes outstanding service by an individual or company supplying non-green goods or services to the industry. BCLNA members benefit from a wide range of suppliers supporting the membership in many ways, from discounts to sponsorships and event assistance.
Young Member of the Year Award
Presented annually to one person aged 35 or younger whose service or contribution to the industry and the Association has been exemplary. Recognizes volunteer time, extraordinary efforts, and financial or other contributions to BCLNA or its members, highlighting the value of young industry members and their fresh perspectives.
Volunteer of the Year Award
Honours a member who has provided significant time away from their business, such as assisting with training sessions, meeting the public at events, or serving on committees-all while keeping their own business, clients, and staff thriving.
Member of the Year Award
Presented to a person whose services or contributions to the industry and the Association have been exemplary.
Lifetime of Outstanding Service Award
The highest honour at BCLNA, for outstanding service or contribution to the Association and industry by an individual who is, or has been, an active member or employee of an active member. Service includes volunteering, extraordinary effort, and financial or other contributions. Nominated and chosen by BCLNA's Past Presidents.

Nominations for the 2025 BCLNA Member Awards are open!
Nominations are anonymous and members are encouraged to submit in any or all categories. The nominations will remain open until early August.
