Cypress Falls

Renovation of an existing backyard patio and swimming pool. The work took place over an eight month period and saw the removal of existing exposed aggregate concrete patios and pool decks, patio granite walls and foreground planting. The pool plaster was renewed along with new tile at the water line as well as new tile in the spa. The new pool and patio decks are architectural concrete with sand blasted finish and architectural saw cut control joints. The concrete has inlays of a random Mica slate for accent which also picks up on the natural colour tones of the adjacent realigned granite walls. The anchor of the new landscape is an outdoor lounge centered around a new outdoor gas fire place with custom stonework surround complimented by hand cast concrete accents and hearth. The gardens have been rejuvenated with assorted perennials and shrubs providing seasonal interest. Landscape lighting highlights the previously unlit landscape features.
