The Barney Backyard Metamorphosis

Relocating from Ontario, the clients were accustomed to the high end outdoor living lifestyle and moving into a duplex with a dated DIY outdoor space was an adjustment the clients did not want to make. Needing a complete overhaul with limited square footage, we embarked on a mission to maximize every inch. The clients’ vision was clear: they yearned for a touch of verdant tranquility, a sense of privacy, and an ambiance that felt naturally inviting. To meet their desires, we designed a captivating outdoor haven, crowned by a splendid custom Douglas Fir pergola, its glass canopy creating an elegant shelter.

The outdoor living zone was spaced from the house by an elegant path made of square cut black tusk basalt pavers and flanked by well designed garden beds and custom designed aluminum laser cut screens bordered by sained cedar posts.
