Karen De Jong
, Bachelor of Applied Science
Marketing & Communications Manager / CanWest Show Manager

Karen started at the BCLNA in November of 1999. After starting from a junior position, her role at the BCLNA has evolved to now managing all the publications, special events, export development and many other special projects. However, her biggest role is managing the CanWest Hort Show. When things get hectic in the office, Karen sneaks away to Starbucks to enjoy a latte. On the weekends, you'll find her with her daughter, perfecting her garden, antiquing, planning her next cruise with husband Nick or celebrating a birthday with one of her 23 nieces and nephews.
